We caught up with co-host of NPR’s All Things Considered and author of The Grace of Silence, Michele Norris, at the 2011 Aspen Ideas Festival. She describes her ongoing project of collecting postcards from around the world on which people have written their thoughts, feelings and observations around race in one sentence using six words. Michele emphasizes the importance of this question since we live in a multi-ethnic society.
