“The National Museum of Natural History and The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region co-hosted an evening discussion Putting Race on the Table on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. A panel of experts included Dalton Conley, New York University; Mallika Dutt, Breakthrough; Margaret K. O’Bryon, Consumer Health Foundation; John A. Powell, Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at Ohio State University; Tynesia Boyea Robinson, Year Up-National Capital Region; and Gustavo Torres, CASA de Maryland. Moderated by co-host of All Things Considered, Michele Norris, the panel jointly explored the topic of race and racism.”
